How To: Pull off Athleisure

By now, if you’ve been following along on Instagram, you know I have a growing affinity for athleisure wear – and if you didn’t know, you should follow me on Instagram!

I received a lot of feedback regarding this new sporty style and I thought it’d be fun to show you how to take fitness gear from gym wear to street wear.

The first favorite look is rocking a casual high-waisted legging look with a bit of flair. Yes, people often say that leggings are not pants and should not be worn outside of the gym but when styled the right way you can don this look anywhere and sweat off the haters.

I received these Comm-ci leggings and was shocked at how form-fitting yet incredibly comfortable they are!

They made me feel fit even outside of the gym so naturally I instantly fell in love with them! Rather than wear a tank top, sweater, or basic tee I opted for an edgier statement making option – a sheer top – to pair with the jacket. I grabbed the sheer top and tied a bow at the base to give it more shape. Rather than wear it with any lace or sports bra, I picked out this super cute Calvin Klein bra which I think ads some character and a necessary contrast of color with the white peeking through the top. I also added my go-to hat, black sneaks, and of course one of my favorite accessories, sunglasses to complete the look. There you have it, one quick and easy way to wear athletic gear during the day flawlessly and effortlessly.💁

I’ve gone ahead and tagged this styled look. Sound off if you’d like more ways to wear athleisure!
