Style Challenge: Make Chunky Sweaters Sexy

For a long time, I steered clear of chunky knit sweaters because I couldn’t find a way to make them look cute (or at all flattering). However, faced with an unexpectedly chilly day when visiting home recently, I decided out of necessity to borrow a sweater from my mom and take on this fashion challenge.

To add a feminine vibe to the thick knit, I paired it with a suspender skirt and sheer tights. The sheer tights exposed enough skin to play up that flirty vibe while my OTK boots kept me warm. I pulled back my hair into a low pony with a long ribbon, donned a pair of statement earrings and popped on a red lip to showcase my jawline, giving me more definition around the neckline.

Voilà! These little touches were enough to transform this puffy sweater into a key component of an overall sexy ensemble.
