Almost a year ago, I mentioned my affinity for suspenders. Well, folks, they’re back and making an appearance for my winter edition.

I’m finally dusting off my winter coats now that the frigid temperatures are upon us in NYC, but rest assured that I won’t be using these oversized garments as an excuse to lose my sense of style! For this look, I opted for a buckled wool coat to hug my figure and a wool fedora to keep my head warm. I love the pop of color against an all black exterior look.

When it’s time to take my outerwear off, I have a fun, playful look to show off underneath. I paired a turtle neck top with these suspenders. I love the chevron print, its colors and the fit of the top against the straps. The look is pulled together with the perfect accompanying accessory: these Geoflora earrings. The studs tie in perfectly with the colorblocking tiles and color scheme, ensuring that these suspenders have a stylish and flirtatious vibe to break the nerdy stereotype.
