2015 has been quite the year, to say the least! When I decided to start a blog two years ago, I definitely did not know the entirety of what I was signing myself up for. I now understand firsthand the time and dedication required to run a fashion blog, with styling outfits, taking pictures, editing pictures, writing posts, editing posts, promoting posts, and repeating the cycle weekly — but I would not trade it for anything!
After an extended hiatus and as time progressed, I learned what my audience gravitates towards, crafted a fresh new design, and developed a strategy. Most importantly, I reconnected with what excites me most about blogging: communicating and showcasing my personality and style in a medium that allows me to connect with women of the same aesthetics!
I could not be more grateful for the past several months, the new friends and fans I have made through The Nikki Standard, the collaborations I’ve been fortunate to be a part of, and my team of family and friends cheering me on! My heart is full and I am beyond excited for what is to come in the new year.
