Midi skirts have made a lasting mark these past couple seasons, and for good reason! During spring and summer, they were paired with light fabrics, sandals, wedges and strappy heels. As we continue into fall, those warm weather pairings are being replaced with cozy sweaters, booties and flats.
Lucky for me, the weather in NYC has remained mild so far this season, giving me more time to prepare for winter weather while I enjoy my summer wardrobe a bit longer. This particular midi skirt from Kreyol, served as a great foundation for my outfit and was my favorite piece of the overall look. The full denim skirt played perfectly into the fall season, allowing me to show some skin while also keeping me warm in cool breezes.
To add some flavor and shape to the skirt, I wore an Aztec print crop top, letting the hue of the skirt bring out the blues in the bold pattern of the top. I tied in pink reflective shades, a cream clutch to match the top and booties to polish off the look.
As the weather continues to cool, this midi skirt will stick around with sweaters and layers. Until then, you can shop this look now.
