I was recently in Ohio celebrating my best friend’s birthday and was so enthralled by the fall foliage that I had to take full advantage of the scenery and don one of my favorite fall outfits. The jacket I had originally planned to wear with this outfit was quickly replaced that morning after a rather successful trip to the local Nordstrom Rack, where my best friend found this cape jacket. It was the perfect budget-friendly substitution for the BCBG cape I had been eyeing for weeks. This particular cape has the boyfriend blazer vibe, which I love, but it is also classy with its defined shoulder stitching. The cape paired with my plaid skirt and leather trimmed tank gave off an edgy meets posh look that I just had to share.
